When It's Hard to Love Yourself



Have you had moments or situations where you've felt you weren't good enough? Or when you've compared yourself to others? The truth is we're all on our own unique journey. Comparing our lives to others is simply unnecessary. 

We have the power to change our reality, our thoughts and how we feel about ourselves and others.

It all comes down to self-love and acceptance.

Loving who you are and accepting where you are in life takes time. So, here are some steps you can take that can help you to love your authentic self:

1. Take time to self-reflect about what makes you unique and what gives you joy. 

2. Surround yourself with family and friends who are willing to listen with an open heart. 

3. Find a community that can give you support along your journey. 

4. Recite affirmations daily until tbey are pratically programmed in your mind. By doing so, when thoughts that are based on fear or doubt comes along, you have enough willpower to shift from self-defeating thoughts to thoughts of victory, prosperity, abundance and optimism.

It is tempting to dwell on your imperfections and past mistakes but you weren't created to linger in that space. In this life, we are here to learn, grow and evolve. Each of us has our own set time to bloom and prosper. That is why it is imperative to have patience, faith and trust in divine timing.

You are uniquely created and so very blessed no matter what your life looks like

Have a positive attitude. Expect good things to happen. Most importantly take care of yourself.

My hope for you after reading this is that you will come to learn to holistically love and accept who you are.

Remember, you are loved, lovely and lovable.
